YOUR ROLE

  • This position is responsible for the processing and production of polymers for adhesives in a chemical plant environment.

  • Polymerization, processing, and handling of water-based adhesives.

  • Operates machines and production equipment safely in accordance with instructions

  • Sets up or adjusts equipment according to manufacturing specifications

  • Monitors the quality of output to identify or discard re-manufacture faulty products

  • Maintains accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed

YOUR SKILLS

  • Problem solving and decision-making skills required

  • Technical and mechanical aptitude required.

  • Must be able to work flexible shifts – 10 hour or 8-hour shifts

  • Must be self-motivated and a strong team player.

  • Must be able to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment to include a respirator.

  • Experience operating a forklift strongly preferred.

  • Chemical handling experiences preferred.

  • Experience with pumps, agitators, pressure vessels and other material handling equipment preferred.

  • Experience with packaging, product labeling, or equivalent material handling operations preferred.

  • Experience with heat exchanger and air scrubbing equipment preferred.

  • Experience with PC control system preferred.

The salary for this role is $20.00 - $24.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
